I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas season! I know we sure did! It was a different type of celebrating this year as all of our families weren't able to be together quite like we have in the past. It really does remind me that families are always changing. The size changes as people marry, move, or have children. The dynamics change as new family members are added. Some traditions remain as other new traditions are established. It's fun to think about how different things might be even five or ten years down the road!

I don't know about you, but I LOVE picking out gifts for people. I truly enjoy thinking about their personalities and interests, picking gifts to match these things! So I thought I would share a recap of my favorite gifts given and received this Christmas.

For our parents, we finally had Wedding Albums made for each of them! It was so fun revisiting this wonderful day and picking out photos that will be special to each set of parents.

We had a few more special gifts this year. One of Michael's brothers is soon to be married, so we had a custom Christmas ornament made for them that has their engagement date on it. One of my brothers bought a Royal Enfield motorcycle this year, so we were able to order him a customized shirt with the company's logo on it.

A later Christmas present arrived to Michael and I in the form of photos! In November we posed for a photographer in Pensacola who is breaking into elopements and vow renewals. It was so sweet capturing new photos in our original wedding day outfits. You can read our original wedding story by heading over to my Instagram page. It was quite the story! If you're heading on a honeymoon or anniversary trip soon I highly recommend booking a photo session while at your destination!

Michael and I had agreed to giving each other smaller gifts this year since our cruise in April is our Anniversary and Christmas gifts to one another. We'll be cruising the Caribbean on the Disney Dream with my sister and brother-in-law, as well as one of my other sister-in-laws. Our cruise will take us to several islands that are new to all of us, and we could not be more excited to experience this together!

I hope you're all enjoying a relaxing time between Christmas and New Years before school starts back and work is in full-swing. Check back soon as I have a couple of recipes and wintery posts coming soon!
